Building Black Political Power
of Contra Costa
My name is Frances Greene
In the current climate of political uncertainty, it is incumbent upon all of us to show a keen interest in not only our representation but in the issues as well. This coming November the issues at hand such as women's reproductive rights, climate control, housing, homelessness, police misconduct, immigration issues, education, and racism. There are people, and agendas by those even at the local level that affect our future. Now is not the time for anyone let alone minorities to sit it out. Things like Project 2025 and candidates and parties with racist agendas are a reality. We must be all in this fight. We must be registered, and appeal to our families and closest friends to be registered and act by voting! Voting must be our priority. We must hold our elected officials accountable for their actions and provide them with our support during their terms. We must also examine ballot measures carefully and not advance negative, racist, dictatorial agendas. The last thing we need is to remove Civil Rights. We must all take the first step towards change, by being a part of the voting process. Help us drive the transformation process and VOTE!
Sincerely,
Frances Greene
